I am grateful for… how my kids act when I’m not there!
Isn’t it funny how your kids act much differently at school then they do at home?
I remember the first time I went to a parent teacher conference and the teacher told me how well behaved and helpful Luci was. I looked at her and said, “Are you sure we are talking about the same kid?”
Turns out all my kids are well behaved and respectful to everyone at school. They are helpful and do things they would never do at home.
Today, I’ve got to brag a bit on Eli because he got called up in front of the whole school to be recognized as a bucket filler. He helped clean up his classroom without being asked and they give away T-shirts to all the bucket fillers for the month.
I am grateful for the fact that everything I’m teaching them at home is rubbing off at them in public! They might not always listen to me here but it’s all good!
