It’s Cookie Time! Let’s call a spade a spade. The holidays can get a little (lot) hectic. I almost let two of our traditions fall by the wayside this year and not for lack of wanting, just forgot.

The first being Christmas cards and the second being cookies. Now, truth be told cookies aren’t high on my priority list and that’s probably because I’m not eating half the ingredients in our traditional cookies. Those are not something you mess with.

So when one of the kids said in passing that we needed cookies for Santa, I baked the easiest, tastiest and most fun to bake cookie: peanut butter kisses!

I know that everyone has their favorite cookie and mine is a gumdrop jewel cookie (the only one I will sacrifice a stomach ache for).
