When Is It Too Early To Start Planning Your Future?

As a bonfide planner, I love knowing what I’m getting myself into. When traveling, I make several lists to make sure all my ducks are in a row. In life, I have a calendar for personal appointments and a giant wall one for my family. Being organized is a trait I thrive on in all parts of my life.

When I was younger, I loved the days when we registered for classes for the next year. It was a puzzle for my analytical mind to see what would fit into my schedule and interests alike. Like everything balance is key. There are times when planning so far in advance can be detrimental to the outcome.
