Life's Moments

They Keep Multiplying

August 23, 2019

For years, my daughter has been in teenager mode and she’s only 11. She and I will go rounds with each other, butting heads and figuring out this whole growing up thing together. It’s been a learning experience, that’s for sure. This is fairly normal behavior for her so I’ve actually come to expect it and am prepared to talk it out with her.

The boys on the other hand will sometime bicker with me, but it lasts all of a minute. Until recently…

My second child is almost 10, which means those pre-teen hormones are starting to kick in. He and I usually have a good understand of one another but lately, he’s been a little more snarky than normal. It’s thrown me for a loop and I was not prepared for this from him.

It seems that once I get comfortable in a stage of life, the kids switch things up on me. So here we go again, time for a curve ball from my normal even-tempered son.
