Cherish The Time You Have Right At This Moment

October 4, 2019

I am a planner by nature and one of the biggest things I think about is what I am going to do when my youngest goes into first grade. Having a dedicated 6 hours to myself during the day brings up the conversation about working/getting a job.

For the last 12 years, I’ve been a mom. Sure, I’ve had plenty of side hustles that I love and have provided extra cash for our family. They are fun, but looking forward I want to make the switch from side hustle to full on entrepreneur. With that block of time during the day, I can achieve so much. Sure, I need to think about what it is I really want to do from home, but I also want to enjoy the time I have with my little guy in the afternoon.

It’s a big transition and change to go from being a mom 24/7 to having the daytime to yourself. I have lots of ideas of things I could do, but I’m pretty sure when the right one comes along, it will come to me as a gut feeling that I won’t be able to let go of.

Hint: I bet it’ll have something to do with writing, but who knows, we tend to surprise ourselves the most!

How do you know when a decision you’ve made is the right one?
