The Waiting Is The Hardest Part…

I’ll tell you what, taking my kids to swim meets teaches them the art of patience.

We are embarking on our first winter swim season and this is a whole different ball game than during the summer.

In the summer, we have less of a schedule to follow but during the school year, all the kids are involved in different activities.

I saw swim meets teach them about waiting but in reality sitting through any siblings’ sport does the trick.

The one thing I’ve learned is that as long as they are equipped with snacks and something to do then the time passes by much quicker.

How do you teach your kids’ patience when they have to go to something they don’t want to?
