I Can’t Believe I Forgot…

The first day of winter break through me for a loop. It was the first time in a long time that I didn’t post a blog. It’s not that I didn’t want to or didn’t have anything to say (that is never the case). I was so wrapped up in my family and everything we doing that writing was the furthest thing from my mind.

We didn’t do anything over the top or spectacular. It was a day of togetherness and that’s what made it so special. In the morning, the boys played, while I cleaned up the papers from the last week. In my efforts to get the house orderly before the mass destruction of opening presents occurs.

Then in the afternoon, we have kids’ activities, rested then watched Home Alone 2 as a family. By the end of the day, my husband and I tucked ourselves into bed and it wasn’t till this morning that it dawned on me that I had forgotten. Being so wrapped in my family is the true reason for the season!
