Yes, I talk to myself a lot. It doesn’t mean that I’m crazy. In all actuality, talking out loud to myself helps me process a lot of things in life.
When I come back from daily walks with my dog, I have figured out a lot of stuff going on in my head. By talking to myself, I come up with new ideas of topics to write about, solved tough decisions by going through the steps one at a time.
My dog doesn’t judge me as I have full conversations as we are walking along the path. Sometimes I get in very energetic during these talks, flailing my arms about and shaking my head when I agree with what I said.
Sure, does this make me look and sound crazy. Probably. Guess what? I don’t care. I am working something out and I dare not worry what I look like when I’m about to have a breakthrough.
I love listening to my inner voice and hearing what it tells me to do. I’d rather be able to organize my thoughts than keep everything bottled up inside. At least someone is listening to me…
