It’s the most wonderful time of the year! With holiday gatherings in our little town to kick off the season, we bundled off and checked it out.

The kids were able to do some crafts, going on a trolley ride and pet a real live reindeer to name a few!

What I love most is seeing their faces light up around every corner when they saw something new.

Many of our neighbors have their Christmas lights up so driving back home was a treat within itself.

We topped off our evening with pizza and our first holiday movie of the season: Elf!

At one point in the movie Buddy says, “I’m sorry I shoved 11 cookies into the VCR.” To which my seven year old asked: “Mom, what’s a VCR???”
