With the time change, it’s a little easier to wake up without an alarm clock but even on most days, I wake up when my body is done sleeping. My internal clock tells me when I need to be up in the morning and as long as I get to bed at a decent time I wake up feeling ready to go.
Being able to wake up without the beeping going off makes for a peaceful morning. I am able to take my time getting out of bed instead of jumping up, worried that I’m going to be late for something.
Even when there are some mornings that I need to be somewhere, I am to alert my body to the time I need to wake up and somehow I can be awake before the alarm goes off. I love the connection my mind and body make together when this happens. Except for the part, where I worry that I’m going to miss my alarm, so I wake up three other times in the middle of the night.
Other than that, it’s a pretty cool thing to watch my body know how much sleep I need.
