Taking Time For Loved Ones

What I love about where we live is that it is pretty much equidistant from all of our family members.

Everyone is close enough to join us for birthday parties but far enough where everyone has their space.

Although, I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have built in babysitters that live closer.

But what this means for us is that when we do day trips to visit, it’s really fun to catch up and see what new things are happening at their houses.

My kids went down to hang out with the grandparents today for their annual Polar Express party. This is exclusively for kids so I get to hang out with my grandma.

This is great for us because we get rare one on one time and I get to catch up with just her.
