Daily Gratitude

I am grateful for… serendipity!

It’s crazy how books, people, and things come into your life at the right moment you need them to!

Lately, I’ve given my book the backseat because, well, life happens, new ideas form and kids’ vlogging projects!

This morning after I dropped the kids off, I couldn’t slow my mind down with all the things I wanted to get done while the kids were gone for the day.

None of those things really were what I wanted to do but more what I had to do to get us through the day.

My meditation was all over the place and parts of it I even did with my eyes opened. I was restless and I couldn’t figure out why.

Then I realized I needed to get back to writing for me and to serve you outright with my personal story that has gotten me to where I am today!

For so many years, I’ve been busy (that’s an understatement cause I love saying I’m busy) but it’s more or less because I feel like I should stay busy. With four kids, it’s almost an expectation that I should be constantly doing something and it makes me mentally tired.

While I thought I was doing research on how to write my next book, I actually needed to read these books for my own well-being. I need to simplify my life even more and not feel like I always have to have a project in the works.

It’s like that age old magic wand question: if time and money weren’t of consequence, what would you do with your life?

How would you answer that? Today, it took awhile for me to come up with an answer and it’s not definite but it’s definitely simpler!
