Taking inventory of all the beauty that surrounds us while playing at the creek with my kids today.

My Jake and I found intricacies in many rocks but when we looking for flat ones to skip in the water we were able to find other cool ones along the way.

He wanted to savor the moment by filling his pockets with rocks that don my table and the railing to our deck.

It’s almost like he is saying, Mother Nature, you are so cool, I want to bring you home with me so I can admire you everyday.

I believe my kids and I are attracted to the water and the calmness it brings us. An hour down by the creek flew by while we enjoy the peacefulness of the stream!
