Breaking All The Rules…

When it comes to picking a word for the year, I kept flipflopping between two. So I decided to choose two.

I choose Love

AND

I choose to Surrender

Love because it is my intention to come at every (if not most) situations from a place of love. Viewing life through a lens of kindness and knowing that love will win over any fear.

Surrender because with my controlling nature, I need to remember to surrender to what is to be. I have to remind myself that I cannot control other people, their feelings or reactions. Also, things might happen that seem out of whack in the moment, but in the end those things will have made sense. It is my intention to surrender to things out of my control and not let my fears, anxieties or worries take over.
