The presents are wrapped. The stockings are stuffed. The cookies and carrots are out awaiting the big guy’s arrival. The anticipation is looming and I’m hoping the little ones fall fast asleep!

They told me they plan to get up super early and guard the presents till 7am when they could officially get us out of bed.

I feel we will be hearing the potter patter of little feet sneaking by our door waiting for the clock to turn to 7:00 on the dot!

As we finished up wrapping their gifts tonight, I was most excited about seeing their reactions when they see what is about to go down here in the morning.

Before I tucked the last present under the tree, I looked at all the great ornaments the kids have made over the year.

This one is filled with things they are grateful for and as I look at it I am reminded of all the things I am grateful for each day!

May tomorrow be full of presence soaking in the spirit of Christmas and remembering what the holiday is all about.
