I am grateful for…healthy bodies!
For the last several days, we got the cue from our bodies to slow down and take a break.
Getting sick all together is not the type of family activity I usually go for but I will say that we did have a LOT of together time.
Extra cuddles on the couch, snuggling up together in our giant oversized blanket, taking naps at random times of the day and generally having lots of QT.
There was nothing else I wanted to do but rest. Nothing else mattered except getting our crew and myself back to normal.
Luckily, the barf bucket was only used as a hat but this downtime of healing made me realize that even though we weren’t feeling good, missed so much school and didn’t do all that much, there is no place I’d rather be.
Doing the Mom thing right now with no other distractions is what fills me up. Writing about our life experiences is a natural side benefit to life with my crew.
